Stokstraat is a pleasant pedestrianised street whose attractive restored houses dating from the 17C and 18C are adorned with stone façades and are now home to smart clothes shops and interior design boutiques. At n° 28, note the façade decorated with sculpted friezes. On a small square called Op de Thermen, a paving shows the site of the old Roman baths whose remains were discovered here in 1840.
