Les Subsistances
O Guide Vert
Opinião do Guia Michelin
In this vast ochre-toned architectural ensemble on the bank of the Saône, you can make out the former cloisters: initially built for the Visitandines (17C), they were then put at the disposal of the army (1807). A storehouse (known as "Subsistances Militaires"), consisting of a large square-based building and two mills, was added. The vaults in the cloisters and the glass roof in the central courtyard are particularly worth seeing. The site now organises cultural events and welcomes artists-in-residence.
