Belvédère Champlain is located in Gatineau Park, at the summit of the Eardley Escarpment. From 335m above sea level, it offers an extraordinary view over the valley of the Ottowa River, point of contact between the Canadian Shield and the St Lawrence Lowlands. Beneath the lookout, a walk along the natural trail, with several observation stations, is a good way to familiarise yourself with the park's vegetation.
