The Royal lodge is comprised of two parts. On the left, the Agnès Sorel Tower and old 14C quarters and then, in the extension, the new quarters, constructed under Charles VIII and Louis XI. Flamboyant Gothic art is very much in evidence, especially in the Anne de Bretagne Oratory. From the terrace you can enjoy fine views of the façade, with its mullioned windows, dormer windows, turrets, gargoyles and hunting dogs. Since 2018, a new scenography takes visitors on an exciting journey back in time.
