One of the main streets in Vieux Lille. It is bordered by 17C and 18C houses; the furrier's house is beautifully restored. Opposite, at no 4 and no 6, the lovers kiss or ignore each other depending on whether they belong to the same house or not. At no 27 is the famous Meert tea rooms.
