From Les Houches, the Prarion cable car sweeps you up 1 860m in 10min. There, the viewpoint indicator next to the Hôtel du Prarion offers a broad panoramic view of the Mt Blanc massif. The more adventurous can climb the Prarion Ridge (approx. 1hr round trip, 1 967m) and will be rewarded with a view of the whole horizon. It is possible to reach Les Houches by foot via the Col de la Forclaz and the Charousse mountain pastures, famous for their traditional chalets.
