Built in the 12C by a count of Hapsburg, Wildegg astle was enlarged and transformed on several occasions, notably by the Effinger family, which owned the place for four centuries. Today, it houses some fine 17-19C furniture and offers views of the charming countryside of prairies and forests from the upper floors.
