Bordering the highway, the highlight of this 620-acre park is the small Frank and Bess Smithe Grove of redwoods, site of a private resort from the 1920s to the 1960s. The park also features a 60-foot waterfall, picnic area, and fishing and swimming in the south fork of the Eel River.
