A famous prehistoric milestone in the scientific world, Le Mas d'Azil is also one of the most spectacular natural sites in the Ariège: 420m long and 50m wide. The visit starts with the flint gallery, which adjoins the magnificent "Salle du Temple". In other galleries you can find out about the geology of the cave and life in the Magdalenian era.
