Located in the games court of Château de la Verrerie, the Industry Pavilion, opened in 2015, is backed by the Académie Francois-Bourdon, named after the inventor of the steam hammer. Founded in 1985, it is a remarkable archive relating to the industrial history of Le Creusot from 1782 to 1985. The permanent exhibition features five sections that chart the evolution of iron manufacture and machinery in the town of Le Creusot as well as current technologies (life-size objects).
