Cathédrale St Alain
O Guide Vert
Opinião do Guia Michelin
St. Alain Cathedral stands on a Romanesque church, destroyed in 1211. On the south façade, at the top of a Romanesque tower with a stone base, painted wooden automated figures have been striking the hours and half hours since 1523. A terrace allows you to walk around the edifice and admire the east wall overlooking the Agout. The interior, with its imposing single nave (13C-14C) and its lower and narrower seven-sided apse (15C-16C) is emblematic of the Southern Gothic style.
