The handsome classical edifice of the former residence of the marshals of France, which stands proudly on the banks of the Cosson, dates back to the 16 and 17C. The richly decorated sitting rooms and bedrooms have changed little over the centuries, although some rooms have been masterfully restored. The castle is also home to splendid kitchens and a fine toy museum in the attic. An enticing invitation to travel back in time.
