Döner Kümbet is one of the most beautiful mausoleums of Kayseri. Known as the "turning mausoleum" (döner in Turkish) because of its cylindrical shape, it was built in the 13C to house the tomb of a princess. The external decor is strikingly delicate, with blind arcades embellished by long bands of geometrical and animal motifs.
