The small Lago d'Iseo charms by the variety of its unspoiled sites set in a mountainous landscape and by its steep or winding shores on which nestle sleepy villages. One such is Pisogne, home to Santa Maria della Neve Church where you will see frescoes from the 16C and Lovere. Relax for a minute or two on the lakeside terrace after admiring the impressive basilica. Monte Isola (alt. 600m) stands in the heart of the lake's dark blue waters.
