The Augustinian monks of Grauhof convent (1527) had this church built by an Italian architect in the early 18C. Its huge interior impresses by the highly restrained use of colour. Note the pulpit in the form of a ship, the splendid organ case (1737) and the choir stalls in exotic wood, which depict the life and rule of St Augustin in fifty-six scenes.
