North York Moors National Park, encompassing some 554mi²/1,436km² of moors, is located in north Yorkshire, the largest county of England. From Pickering in the south to the edge of Middlesbrough in the north, coastline included, stunning landscapes unfold before the eye, dotted with remarkable sites. One of the most noteworthy is Rievaulx Abbey, framed in a magnificent natural site.
