This massive neo-Gothic building, the oldest of the current University of Glasgow, was designed by George Gilbert Scott. In the Professors Square, which is at the west end of the main building, the Lion and Unicorn staircase is still there for you to see; like the staircase and Pearce Lodge facing University, it comes from the old college.
