The hamlet of Adriach has retained an interesting sanctuary built in the mid-11C. It was Frohnleiten's parish church until the late 18C. The interior has abundant Baroque furnishings. Note the pulpit, high-altar painting and four frescoes on the ceiling of the nave painted by Joseph Adam von Mölck. St George's Church was for a long time a place of pilgrimage, visited by many, including the Empress Maria Theresa,
