The fortified complex of the episcopal group set in the heart of the medieval town is comprised of the cathedral, cloister, outbuildings, baptistery and the bishop's palace. Access is through a doorway whose two sculpted walnut panels swing open beneath an ogee arch. They depict scenes of the life of the Virgin Mary, images of Saint Peter and Saint Paul and coats of arms.
