Flekkefjord is a lively, picturesque holiday spot, and one of the most charming "white villages" on the "Green Coast". The town hall and church built in 1833 are remarkable monuments, as is the Flekkefjord Museum housed in an 18C building. White-painted timber houses line the narrow, winding streets, and many are occupied by shops. Those on the banks of the fjords have balconies overlooking private anchorages and boat shelters.
