The 14C Palazzo Davanzati, a tall and narrow three-storey building, was purchased by historian Bernardo Davanzati in the 16C. Restored in the 1900s, the building is home to a collection of beautiful furniture from the 14C, 15C and 16C, as well as tapestries and works of art. It also hosts exhibitions. The palazzo provides a fascinating insight into a wealthy Florentine residence during the Renaissance.
