This nature reserve, created in 1988, is characterised by a deep seawater indentation called the bay of peace (uvala Mir). Blue water and hills covered in gorse and pine trees set the scene for this unspoilt location. A path leads to the cliffs which are over 160m high. Another path leads to the park's main claim to fame: a saltwater lake (jezero Mir), which feeds into the sea. The lake is several degrees warmer than the sea and its waters are said to soothe aches and pains and heal skin disorders.
