This palace, once home to the customs and minting works of the Republic of Ragusa, boasts a striking arcaded gallery. Today the municipal archives are stored here, some of which date back to 1022. The striking façade is a mix of Gothic and Renaissance styles. As this is one of the rare buildings to have survived the earthquake of 1667, it gives the visitor an idea of the opulence of the palaces of the era. Also of interest are the exhibition on the town's history and the memorial to the Croatian soldiers of 1991-92.
