This Edwardian style country house was designed by Robert Lorimer for an industrialist, FB Sharp. In 1904, Sharp had bought the property that included Wemysshall (1696), the house of William Bruce, and Scotstarvit Tower (16C). Sharp was a collector of big-name art and his house was designed to house his large collection of furniture, paintings by the grand masters, tapestries, china and bronzes.
