Built in the 14C by Alfonso XI, this palace-fortress contains a superb Roman sarcophagus from the 3C and an interesting collection of mosaics which recall the splendour of Córdoba in Roman times. It is also possible to visit the baths, the structure of which is Moorish, but which was built by the Christians. The Mudéjar-style patio looks onto stunning Moorish gardens.
