Ohio's premier science and industry museum was designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki. Located on the Scioto River, the centre cleverly incorporates a 1924 Beaux-Arts high school. In the heart of the vast green expanses around are seven state-of-the-art "Learning Worlds". Video, hands-on experimentation and computers make this one of the most comprehensive science exhibitions in the world.
