Maison Picassiette
O Guide Vert
Opinião do Guia Michelin
The Maison Picassiette is an outstanding example of 20C naive architecture. For 25 years, the cemetery sweeper Raymond Isidore (1900-1964) covered the floors, ceilings, walls, furniture and flower pots of his modest house with thousands of pieces of coloured glass and broken pottery. Nothing escaped his artistic hand and he went on to build a chapel and a throne, both of which he adorned with frescoes. The garden is home to his own very personal vision of the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.
