House of souvenirs - Joë Bousquet Centre
O Guide Vert
Opinião do Guia Michelin
The mansion, where Joë Bousquet lived from 1918 to 1950, is today devoted to his life and work. Paralysed following an injury in 1918, the author lived as a recluse in this "house with closed shutters". He spent his time writing, thinking and entertaining famous visitors (André Gide, Paul Valéry, Louis Aragon, Henri Michaux, et al). During the tour, look up and admire the painted ceilings, which bear witness to the history of this edifice.
