Not far from the Memorial, this 17ha/42-acre park, created in 1994 for the 50th anniversary of the Normandy landings, occupies the site of a former tip popular with seagulls, hence its name, which means "Birds' Hill". Made up of theme gardens, it has a lovely rose garden.
