The Rua das Pedras is the nerve centre of Búzios. Its low-lying buildings and rustic cobbled streets are renowned throughout Brazil. The outdoor cafés, bars, fashionable boutiques and restaurants slowly awaken as the morning draws to a close and get really lively in the evenings. At the point at which it joins the jetty, the street becomes the Orla Bardot and extends along the bay. There is also a statue of the star herself, which has practically become the symbol of Búzios.
