San Nicolás church is home to a splendid altarpiece by Simon of Cologne (1505), richly decorated with no less than 465 figures. The central statue of San Nicolas is surrounded by a depiction of his sea journey by caravel to Alexandria. The Last Supper is at the bottom with the disciples seen from the back. In the upper part, you can see the Virgin Mary surrounded by angels.
