This is an example of a maison de derrière, as they were called in Brussels - "house at the back" -, is not visible from the street. It dates back to the late 17C and is thought to be the work of the sculptor Cosyn. Above the front door, there is a statue of Bellone, goddess of war. The building is now home to the House of Performing Arts and its library.
