The southern Netherlands was very productive in the art of soft furnishings, embroidery and lacemakng in the 17C and 18C, as this museum shows. Installed in two 18C houses, it presents the crafts involved in costumemaking from the 17C-20C. The collection provides striking examples of the dexterity of lacemakers. Temporary exhibitions.
