The atypical park (nearly 1,000ha - 140ha of which are open to the public) of Inhotim is located at Brumadinho, in the middle of nowhere. Iron ore magnate, Bernardo Paz, designed this enchanting botanical garden in the 1980s, notably planting the world's largest collection of palm trees. The garden also boasts a stunning contemporary art collection, dotted around the landscaped grounds in galleries and pavilions and in the open air.
