A few points of interest surround Kruispoort, a gate in the ramparts. Four lovely post windmills, which are typical of the region, stand to the north, on the old ramparts. These include Bonne Chieremolen and St Janshuismolen (1770). The Guido Gezelle Museum, in the house where the poet was born, is nearby. On Camerstraat, you will see the St Sebastien Archers' Guild, which contains portraits of the guild's "kings".
