Beacon Street
O Guide Vert
Opinião do Guia Michelin
The writer Oliver Wendell Holmes described Beacon Street as "the sunny street that holds the sifted few". Its string of opulent homes on the southern slope of the hill commands coveted views over the Common. Westwards, it extends into Black Bay and beyond. Look out for the very exclusive granite-built Somerset Club at N° 42-45 and at N° 54-55, the elegant Greek Revival edifices, said to be the work of Asher Benjamin.
