After severe damage following a fire in 1964, this church was restored in an 18C baroque vein, with new, vividly coloured stained-glass windows. The five-sided 12C apse, inspired by Antiquity, is remarkable. And the unexpected view from the gardens of St Jacques Church over Saint-Nazaire Cathedral is just as impressive.
