The cathedral in its current guise was built in the late 13C. Inside there is a magnificent chancel with finely sculpted Gothic walls and a rear façade, from the 16C, presenting low reliefs that depict the martyrdom of the saint. Her sarcophagus is a piece of alabaster created by Tuscan artists in the 14C. Bernat Martorell's Transfiguration, a classic of Catalan painting, stands out among the retables of the chapels along the deambulatory. Lovely views over the city from the terraces.
