It is on Plaça Nova that the Roman cardo begun, to which you gained entry through a door flanked by two towers which remain to this day. On Sundays and public holidays, the locals flock here to take part in folk dancing. Notice the Col.legi d'Arquitectes, with its frieze decorated with sgraffite by Picasso.
