The Museum of Art and History occupies the buildings of Auxerre's former abbey, including the abbot's lodgings, the 14C pantry, the monks' hall, the 12C chapter room and the sacristy. Highlights include the Gallo-Roman Room, where you will see a Gallic emblem and the Prehistory and Protohistory Room. The latter spans the Palaeolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age periods.
