Located close to the lively Jordaan district, Prince's Canal is the longest and most intimate of the four canals encircling the centre of Amsterdam. Its name refers to William, Prince of Orange, famous for leading the nationwide revolt against the Spanish. Anne Frank's house can be found along this canal.
