Founded in 1144, this Benedictine abbey has survived all manner of ravages that time has thrown its way, and today presents a late-Baroque ensemble of exceptional quality. Inside, Paul Troger's frescoes depicting Good triumphing over Evil are deemed to be the artist's finest work.
