Isolated in a small valley below the village, Agia Panagia Church is sheltered by an old oak tree. Inside, the frescoes (1315-1316) are remarkably preserved. Depicting scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary and Christ, they are the work of the famous artist Ioannis Pagomenos, of whom there is a self-portrait, on the right as you enter. Also note the figures of the archangel St Michael, the angel Gabriel and the Orthodox saints George and Demetrios.
