Situated in the upper section of the Aberlardo Sánchez park, this modern building is home to two museums. The Joaquín Sánchez Jiménez archaeological museum displays the remains of Iberian culture (Sphinx of Haches, sculptures from the sanctuary of Cerro de los Santos) found in digs in the province; it also boasts a fine collection of articulated dolls from Roman times. Local artist Benjamín Palencia (1894-1980), famous for his landscapes and portraits, takes pride of place in the town's fine arts museum.
