Isolated on a small island attached to the Ionian coast by a narrow strip of land, Le Castella is a handsome castle whose outline is reflected in the calm sea. Between the 3C BCE and the 16C, successive occupants made alterations without destroying previous features. The Aragonese, the last inhabitants, left their signature in the horizontal band running around the perimeter wall. Strikingly beautiful!
