The dishes created by owner-chef Héctor Oribe, who trained at the Mendizorroza hotel school and expanded his knowledge in some of the Basque Country’s most respected restaurants, are fine examples of updated cuisine with its roots in traditional cooking. The restaurant features a bar area at the entrance, a classically furnished dining room with a predominantly white colour scheme, plus an attractive glass-fronted wine cellar. The main focus here is on the set menus, which include noteworthy specialities such as the bread “canutillos” stuffed with black pudding and the ever-popular oxtail stew.
