Tasteful simplicity, evident as soon as you enter, is to the fore in this restaurant, where the couple in charge (María and Marcos) have opted unapologetically for a “low cost” decor that reflects their own personality, which is clear in every detail. The chef’s training at El Ermitaño, in Benavente, manifests itself to the full, with its roots in the traditional cooking of days gone by, to which he adds his own imprint and the occasional innovative touch. It’s possible to try lots of dishes here as many of those on the menu are available in half-portions.
