This small, rustic restaurant in the historic centre has limited space and a vaguely bohemian feel thanks to its informal tables, ceramics and candles. Delicious, simple, home-made cuisine full of Mediterranean and Maltese flavours takes pride of place here, with just one tasting menu that changes almost every day. There’s a shorter menu at lunchtime, while dessert can be chosen separately from a mini dessert menu. Excellent bread baked in a wood-fired oven, olives, extra-virgin olive oil from Gozo, pasta, and slow-cooked meat are just some of the attractions here. Booking in advance is recommended.
