Ferretería

Opinião do Guia Michelin
A visit to this restaurant, occupying the premises of what was once the oldest hardware store (“ferretería” in Spanish) is an absolute must in the Spanish capital. The timeless charm of the former store has been retained in the Leña-Bar, the latter accompanied by dining rooms in the basement plus other dining spaces beneath 16C brick vaulting (former coal vaults) which come as a complete surprise. The traditional cooking on offer has been given a traditional makeover and is based around ingredients of the very best quality. Dishes on the menu include León morcilla (black pudding) rolls with a pepper sauce, grilled swordfish with Carabinero prawn carpaccio, and oxtail ravioli with apple, toffee and mint oil.
