Just a stone's throw from the romantic ruins of Hambye Abbey, this hotel and restaurant run by a welcoming and dynamic couple is well known among locals. The chef learned the trade here before moving on to other reputable establishments; now he is back, producing tasty, no-frills cuisine with solid traditional foundations. The risotto with Pont l'Évêque cheese, andouille sausage, a hint of cider vinegar and a crunchy tuile, for example, is a generous and tasty starter. Excellent value for money.
